Operations Specialist II - Cost Basis

Overview The Cost Basis Operation Support team provides leadership in the development of the Schwab Premier Statement and Gain and Loss Report by facilitating decision making and providing subject matter expertise related to cost basis and other portfolio accounting and financial information that will be reported on the products.
The team is a critical stakeholder, and therefore approves scope, vision, and business support to the Schwab Institutional teams Description Responsibilities include researching, reconciling and updating cost basis for Schwab clients.
In addition Cost Basis services the needs of Schwab's internal and external clients (Schwab Institutional and Schwab Investor Services) as required.
This role includes liaison responsibilities with business partners and technical support.
Problem solving, client focus, resourcefulness, thoroughness and accuracy are critical to your success.
Qualifications Strong research and problem solving skills a must.
Candidates must be able to document and articulate data problems to derive technical solutions Three or more years experience working with portfolio, mutual fund or partnership accounting and operations highly desired Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics a plus Requirements: Relocation Offered?
