Fiber Customer Support Analyst

Fiber Customer Support Analyst serves as the initial point of contact for provisioning and/or maintenance customer inquiries concerning their fiber-based voice, and data services.
Duties of this position include: Providing activation support.
Creating trouble reports.
Analyzing and isolating trouble conditions.
Providing customers with order and/or trouble status.
Initiating service order corrections and changes.
Must have a strong understanding of PC components and functionality, and have the ability to work with customers, on the telephone, to isolate/resolve problems with equipment at a customer location.
Successful candidates must have a basic understanding of communication networking components such as routers, LAN topology, Ethernet and Network Interface cards, as well as a working knowledge of PC hardware/software functionality.
Must have training, education or experience related to PC home networking technology.
Required to use a headset and sit at a workstation for extended periods while working at a computer terminal assisting internal and external customers.
Must be willing to work regularly scheduled tours including day, evening, night, weekend and holiday tour assignments to facilitate 24x7 coverage in the center.
Overtime may be required.
1 year customer call center experience is desired.
Qualified candidates must pass all appropriate pre-employment tests, drug screen and a background check as well as possess the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.

Customer Support Analysts can earn from $11.69-$24.97 per hour based on relevant work experience and education.
