Please include your updated Resume in WORD Format! Our client, located near Syracuse, New York is seeking an Executive Housekeeper (Managerial) with the following skills and/or abilities: Confident with ability to pass a very thorough FBI-Like Background Check.
Comfortable reporting directly to the Rooms Division Manager.
5 years experience in a Housekeeping Supervisory position at a large, upscale expanding resort.
Must have knowledge of all Housekeeping Standards at a high-end resort and will be responsible for effective management of Housekeeping Services and Operations for the following: 96 luxury suites; (Four Diamond Rating by AAA), 287 rooms (19 stories, high-end lodging option), 285 rooms (Three Diamond Rating by AAA), 62 rooms (affordably priced alternative lodging option).
Establishes and maintains staffing levels for all areas of the housekeeping department by utilizing FTE's and Staffing Reports, including foreign labor.
Effectively interacts, including educating and training, a staff of nearly 160 Team Members ensuring each Team Member provides quality Guest Service.
Oversees all purchasing and acquisition of materials and supplies for daily operations of the department.
Ensures the appropriate service standards are met within budgeted labor projections.
Follow all company and departmental policies and procedures at all times.
Must have OSHA / MSDS training.
Candidate must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays.
Above average communication and computer skills.
High School diploma or GED is required; a college degree or some level of secondary education is preferred.
