Customer Service Tech Specialist - International Shipping

In short, we handle the administrative responsibilities of a business - managing a company's mail and distribution center, running a copy center, and more.
PBMS also offers other business solutions, including high-volume print and production mail, records management, desktop publishing, electronic documents, and business recovery services.
PBMS is currently seeking a Customer Service Technical Specialist who is customer service oriented and career-minded; and, who is able to work in a fast paced production environment.
Key responsibilities may include: · Handling of international shipping requests · Preparation, coordination and tracking of shipments · Pick-up and deliver mail andparcels to customers · Communication regarding tracking of shipments in transit when required by the shipper, consignee or Client contacts · Assist in the validation of all shipping detail to conform with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) requirements · Assist in the maintenance of Export Documents to meet federal US Customs requirements · Utilization of appropriate processes and tools · Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude · Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment · Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines · Take direction from supervisor or site manager · Maintain all logs and reporting documentation; attention to detail · Adhere to all safety procedures With the right attitude and the will to perform job functions accurately and effectively, PBMS offers a tremendous opportunity for you -- the chance to succeed with a solid, stable company that provides world-class services to the top companies in the US and abroad.

Qualifications Although experience is preferred, it is not necessary.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications: · High School diploma or equivalent preferred · Minimum of 1 year customer service related experience · Minimum of 1 yearexperience in International Shipping · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written · Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment · Competency in performing multiple functional tasks · Ability to meet employer's attendance policy · Ability to work proficiently on a PC in a Windows environment · Lifting up to 40 pounds · Standing for long periods of time .
Must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record
