Key responsibilities include: ·Monitor inventory levels, order stock when reorder points are reached, work with customer on production specification of new items, changing reorder points based on usage and 80+year history, providing price quotes.
·Engage warehouse personnel on inventory or order issues and rectify any issues.
·Validate invoices.
·Build repoire with customers.

Qualifications PBMS is currently seeking an full-time Customer Service Representative for our Document Solutions Center in Washington, DC who is customer service oriented and career-minded, and able to work in a fast paced production environment.
Although experience is preferred, it is not necessary.
The ideal job seeker must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications: ·High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not required ·Minimum of 1 year customer service related experience required ·Minimum of 6 months demonstrated knowledge and experience in a related functional area ·Excellent communication skills ·Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment ·Competency in performing multiple functional tasks ·Ability to meet employer's attendance policy ·Good computer skills including familiarity with MS Office required ·A strong knowledge of reprographics/print is a plus.
The ideal person will coordinate production of printed materials, prepress, or printing services with customers' requirements by performing the following duties ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Interfaces with sales force as to project feasibility concerning job requirements and time frame · Confers with customers and sales throughout production to keep them informed of status, to solicit and resolve inquiries and complaints, to obtain approval of materials such as litigation originals, artwork, color separations, color samples, and proofs · Determine supplies and materials required for each project · Basic understanding and working ability to create item masters, shop order, job jacket / ticket / traveler · Pricing and estimating of subcontracted work.
· Confers with departmental heads or production personnel to develop or confirm information regarding various cost elements.
· Confers with management to supply information for tracking of quote to win ratio.
· In conjunction with the management team will be responsible for completing the billing process · Routes supplies and materials such as paste ups, artwork, copy, film, or prints to work areas to put projects into production · Monitors progress of the order throughout production, confers with establishment personnel, orders supplies, contracts services with outside vendors, and alters production schedule and job order to expedite timely processing of job in accordance with customers' requirements and PBMS standards.
Maintains log of jobs in production.
· Ability to close shop orders and move projects into dispatch for delivery · Assist with dispatching of the drivers Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management.
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Associates degree from a two year program or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Conventional printing and digital printing, estimating, and production experience is recommended.
Customer service experience is required.
