Account Analyst - Customer Service Rep II
Account Analyst Customer Service Representative II Ariat International, Inc., located in Union City, California, is a fast-paced, growing manufacturer/wholesale distributor of footwear, apparel, belts and small leather accessories.
As our international and domestic markets continue to grow, we are expanding Customer Service department.
General Summary: Responsible for all facets of sales operations support and order management functions.
Provides service to Ariat dealers and sales reps for an assigned territory(s).
Processes orders, prepares correspondence and fulfills customers' needs to ensure satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned) Provide courteous and professional service to internal and external customers.
Serve as the primary contact for dealers and sales reps in the assigned territory(s), including building relationships and managing any issues that may arise.
Management of assigned accounts through ensuring orders are entered accurately and confirmed in a timely manner.
Respond promptly to a high volume of calls, voice mails and emails daily.
Daily auditing of EDI and open orders.
Quick resolution of order discrepancies.
Act as a liaison between customers, field sales and other departments as required to meet account goals and directives.
Resolution of a diverse range of issues including general questions and problems involving pricing, product usage and care, product availability, inventory, transportation, and product delivery.
800# support includes inbound calls regarding phone orders, order changes, return authorizations and warranty coverage.
May include a specific area of focus, ie Key accounts, EDI, maintaining customer records, new hire training, front desk coverage or any other operational support function when needed.
All other tasks and duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills Required: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, BA or BS preferred.
1-3 years customer service experience, preferably in a footwear, apparel, outdoor equipment or manufacturing environment.
Exceptional written, oral and face-to-face communication skills.
Enthusiastic, friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
Detail orientation with outstanding follow-through.
Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks and work independently of supervision.
Fast acting and capable of adapting quickly to change.
Able to solve customer problems, make decisions and take calculated risks in order to meet partner expectations in a manner consistent with company goals and policies.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the customer service field.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Intermediate level computer skills with MS Office Word & Excel.
Desire and ability to contribute to and enhance Ariat's unique culture, philosophy and core values.
Experience processing, managing customer orders and/or accounts, allocation of product or EDI Knowledge of Footworks or similar order entry systems.
Physical Requirements: May require periodic travel.
Willing and able to work additional hours when needed.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use the hands and fingers, talk and hear.
The employee is frequently required to bend, lift, stand, walk, sit and reach with the hands and arms.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move product and office items up to 25lbs.
