ANS Customer Service Rep I-ANS
ANS Customer Service Rep I-ANSBothell, WA Position Description: Basic Description: Handles customer questions, complaints, and billing inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to resolve customer issues with one call resolution.
Offers alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of retaining customer's business.
Handles business transactions in connection with activation of new customer accounts on a computer terminal.
Communicates with customers using web-based tools and demonstrates the associated proficiency in typing and grammar.
Makes financial decisions to protect/collect revenues and adjusts customer accounts.
May be required to achieve a sale quota.
Has broad working knowledge of Cingular Wireless practices and operations and demonstrates continued and consistent proficiency in most of the skill sets utilized within the Host Call Center.
May assist management with scheduling and tracking of the workforce and vacation schedules in accordance with set Company guidelines and requirements.
May assist in training new employees.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Starting salary $458.
50-$530 per week (based on a 40 hour work week).
Detailed Description: Come join a best-in-class call center environment.
Provide concierge customer service to Cingular Wireless enterprise data customers.
Provide customers with advanced wireless product support based upon their needs via incoming call center phone queue.
Accept transfers from the rest of Cingular Care related to complex Wireless Data service issues.
Aid customers in the troubleshooting and configuration of Cingular software such as PC cards, RIM Blackberry, Personal Digital Assistants and laptop computers.
Assess and complete troubleshooting on the Cingular wireless data network (GPRS / EDGE).
Provide detailed feedback and suggestions regarding drivers behind customer calls as well as process and training modifications.
Work flexible hours, which may include weekends/evenings/holidays.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Meet or exceed established performance goals.
Position Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: HS Diploma/GED or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age. 6 months experience operating a computer in Windows based environment.
Availability to work a flexible schedule which includes all hours of call center operation.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated and team-oriented.
Demonstrate ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Fundamental wireless technology knowledge is a plus such as PC, laptop operating systems, PDA operating systems, and mobile devices.
