Warehouse Worker, General Labor: Adams & Garth Staffing and Executive Search
Warehouse Worker General Description: We are seeking motivated and reliable general laborers to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
Primary job duties will include general cleaning and sanitation of the facility.
Other job duties will include collection of trash and cardboard throughout the warehouse and transporting waste to appropriate bins.
Requirements include: Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Must have the ability to read, comprehend and communicate in English.
Attention to detail and work independently.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions as well as be aware of surrounding environment and co-workers.
Operation of electric pallet jack for transportation purposes and to move waste and sanitation supplies.
Hand feed plastic and cardboard into automated bailing machine.
Must be able to work 8-12 hour shifts, some weekends and OT Must be able to work the 2nd or 3rd shifts.
Candidate must have steel toe shoes.
Posses the ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
Reliable transportation No employer gaps more than 3-4 months.
Must provide references for the past 3 years.
Our client requires that hopeful candidates must additionally be able to: Pass a drug screen Pass a criminal history background with no prior misdemeanors or felonies.
(Minor traffic violations are acceptable).
Will be eligible to legally work in the United States and will be checked through E-Verify.
