Project Manager-Construction-Long Island
Global Services Company, headquartered in Long Island, New York seeks a Project Manager of Construction who will be responsible for overseeing, planning, designing and managing construction projects (new and existing facilities/buildings) firmwide.
Position involves managing relationships with internal departments, (external) vendors, contractors, sub-contractors and associated trades.
Will be responsible for budgeting; coordinating multiple bids, financial projections, expense and cash flow reporting within an assigned financial budget and negotiating with vendors.
Individual will participate in the lease negotiation process and will be responsible for providing reporting on all project matters.
Will work closely with other departments, project architects as well.
Job Requirements: 7+ years of experience in Project Management working at a LARGE Construction Company.
Strong familiarity with developing, managing and tracking budgets Bachelors Degree (Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field preferred) Position requires knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD Must be able to travel approximately 25-30% Compensation starting at a base of 110K with eligibility for bonus and benefits.
