Project Manager: Emerson-Emerson Retail Solutions
Project ManagerJob Summary: This position will manage the turnkey installations of Facility Management Systems and peripheral energy efficiency devices for commercial and retail applications.
Duties and Responsibilities: Preparing project scope of work, project plans, cost estimates, and equipment lists to align with customer requirements.
Overseeing and coordinating subcontractors on projects Interacting with internal and external personnel to resolve hardware/software and installation issues Managing and reporting on costs, schedule, resources, inventory, and customer satisfaction to ensure that the customer and all internal stakeholders are informed through the project lifecycle.
Controlling risks to ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget.
Conducting quality audits throughout project lifecycle to ensure projects are delivered right the first time Prepare project billing and appropriate revenue forecasts Provide the necessary documentation and plan to transition to Technical Services for on-going support.
Skill and Educational Requirements: A Technical or Engineering degree is preferred.
Experience with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are recommended.
Experience with Project Management software is required with preference to QuickBase PM. Knowledge and experience with installation of controls equipment and systems as well as retail/commercial store construction practices are a plus.
Highly developed written and verbal skills will be required in order to effectively communicate thru all levels, both internally and externally.
Working Conditions: Salaried exempt position that requires 40 hours per week with up to 5% overnight travel and time spent on installation job sites required.
