Project Designer-Restaurant Construction

Q4B is seeking a qualified Project Designer to fill a position in Rosemead, California.
The Project Designer will join the Architectural and Construction team and will help support the construction process of restaurant stores by providing design activities and functions.
As a Project Designer, your responsibilities will include: - Maintain the quality design through research and development - Prepare preliminary kitchen and interior layout design for all new and remodel projects - Review construction documents - Coordinate design with landlord, City departments, Project Manager, Operations, and Consultants to obtain all approvals for design - Communicate status and schedules with consultants and design team - Respond to requests from construction personnel for information and clarification - Supervise vendor selection, cost research for materials and fixtures - Coordinate design activities with prototype design - Standardize Construction details Required skills and qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Architecture - 2+ yrs of architectural, food service related experience - AutoCAD 2002 experience required - Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Knowledge of Basic Building and Handicapped Codes - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
