Project Accountant
PROJECT ACCOUNTANT Project Description: This Project Accountant is for a $700 million mixed use project in New York City.
Responsibilities: Submit monthly AIA invoices to each client for payment on project.
Generate purchase orders and change order requests for subcontractors.
Track subcontractor invoices submitted for payment.
Reading, interpreting, summarizing, maintaining files for, and monitoring vendor contracts.
Overseeing vendor payment process Extensive interface with Project Managers and vendors Special projects as requested by Project Managers, Development Controller and CFO. Qualifications: BS or BA degree 2-5 years experience in real estate development or construction accounting Exp in preparation of AIA requisitions.
Excellent Excel skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Must have experience with job costing Knowledge of construction accounting software, Timberline preferred.
