Production Planner/SchedulerCompany: Weyerhaeuser Location: USA-AL-Castleberry Status: Full-time ,EmployeeJob Category: Operations, Manufacturing, & Construction Description This position reports to the Plant Manager.
This Weyerhaeuser facility (former Trus Joist plant) is located in Castleberry, AL on Highway 31 South.

1. 5 hours of some of the best beaches on the South Coast! Key Functions: Under general supervision, plans production schedules for the plant, optimizing and balancing customer service and mill productivity.
Schedules shipment dates, quantities, and grade.
Communicates production planning status daily to coordinate with order services, sales, and plant production personnel.
Identifies potential problems in meeting schedules and recommends solutions.
Qualifications Must have thorough understanding of customer requirements and be empathetic toward their needs.
Sensitive to manufacturing and supplier constraints and objectives.
Plan and schedule the production of all orders using SAP and PRES programs.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Extensive knowledge of Excel and Word software programs needed.
Strong math, oral, and written communication skills a plus.
Ability to work under pressure and react to changing priorities.
Must be team and safety oriented.
