We are currently hiring full-time Merchandisers for Resets, New Store Projects, and Capital Projects for the Home Center stores in the following cities - Job Description - Merchandiser Duties - Construct and/or remodel store sets in retail home center stores throughout the Western United States - Merchandising, setting and/or re-setting displays and merchandise - Work with store/divisional management to verify space allocation for product - Responsible for building displays; adjusting beam heights - Organize overhead bins and report missing merchandise sku's Skills - Perform basic construction work - Ability to perform physical labor, lifting up to 50 lbs. - Forklift and reach truck experience a plus - Basic computer skills (will be trained to use a PDA and Blackberry) - Ability to work independently - Self-motivated - Good communication skills - Good organizational skills Requirements - Flexiblity to work 3rd shift (overnights) - Willingness to travel for up to two weeks at a time - Compliance with all safety standards - Valid driver's license - Reliable transportation with proof of current insurance - High School diploma * Background and drug test required Benefits - Company package includes medical, dental, vacation/sick time, and paid holidays (after 90 days of employment); 401k program (after 6 months of employment) - Work related travel benefits include paid air and hotel expenses (Motel 6 type accommodations) - Per diem - Experience in the following fieleds are helpful: Retail, Warehousing, Home Center, Hardware, Garden, Electrical, Plumbing, Flooring, Paint, Construction, Building Materials, Grocery, Stocking, Carpentry, Displays, Building Supply, Lumber, Tile, Carpet, Military, Installation Benefits: - Package includes medical, dental, vacation/sick time, paid holidays, and a 401k program (after 90 days of employment) Contact: recruiter [at] tashman [dot] com or at 310-393-1297
