Delphinus Engineering is hiring immediately for the following part time and full time positions: Inside Machinists (Hydraulic)Overhaul and repair hydraulic components such as actuators, cylinders, accumulators, control valves, relief valves, and regulators.
Experience with precision measuring equipment (PMQ).
Inside Machinists (Air)Overhaul and repair air system components such as ball valves, check valves, relief valves and associated coolers and exchangers.
Experience with precision measuring equipment (PMQ).
Inside Machinists (Valve)Overhaul and repair steering and diving, main and auxiliary machinery equipment.
Experience with precision measuring equipment (PMQ).
Inside Machinists (Pump)Overhaul and repair pumps including multi-stage and reciprocating pumps.
Experience with precision measuring equipment (PMQ).
Marine/Outside MachinistsRemove, repair and install steering and diving, main and auxiliary machinery equipment.
Experience with precision measuring equipment (PMQ).
Inside Machinists (Machine Operator)Operation of lathes, mills, drills, grinders and horizontal/vertical boring machinery for manufacturing and repair.
Experience with precision measuring equipment (PMQ).
Hull InsulatorsInstallation and removal of sound dampening material and manufacturing of containments (wood working skills).
InsulatorsRemove and install high temperature, anti-sweat, acoustical insulation, finishing cement and fiberglass cloth; and remove, manufacture and install portable insulation pads.
Pipe FittersFabricate, install, remove, modify and repair piping and hoses; layout, template and target pipe for welding/brazing.
ElectriciansRemove, install, modify, repair and trouble shoot various electrical systems, circuits, controls and instruments and equipment.
Cable way certified and connector certified desired.
Plastic Fabricators - Mold in Place (MIP)Installation of MIP materials; fabrication of molds, manufacturing of containments (wood working skills), and shrink wrap installation.
ShipwrightsAssembly/Disassembly of scaffolding (staging), manufacturing of containments.
Secret Clearancerequired or active within the last two (2) years.
Salary for these positions will be based on experience level.
Work will be at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) in Bremerton, WA.Travel reimbursement for those applying from outside of the region may be available.
One on One interviews will be held at WorkSource Kitsap, 1300 Sylvan Way, Bremerton from 12:00 to 3:00pm Monday, May 24,2010.
