Assists with Landscaping, Minor Repairs, Maintenance ABOUT US: The Pasha Group is an international transportation management company, headquartered in Corte Madera (Marin County) CA. Purpose of Job: To assist and facilitate the planning, design, and maintenance of landscaped environments, which may include flowers, plants, trees, lawns, fences, decks, patios or water features.
To perform daily minor repairs and maintenance as needed Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards: - Daily landscaping maintenance duties may include mowing, edging, weeding, driving, hauling yards of soil using a wheelbarrow, lifting 60-70lbs, pruning, dead-heading, trenching, planting, hauling leaf debris, and ladder work and repair of irrigations system.
- Minor repair and maintain any electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, framing, and other as required.
- Mix and apply pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and other chemicals as required.
- Clean and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
- Operate power equipment, such as lawn mowers and hedge trimmers - To perform various errands as required.
- Must be able to understand instructions and other communications regarding work assignments and other matters.
Work Environment: Work is primarily performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
Education: Minimum High school Diploma Licenses/Certificates: Fully bonded preferred Driving License with clean DMV Experience: - Minimum 2 years experience in Landscape Maintenance - Minimum 2 years in repair of general items.
- Strong knowledge of plants, soils, pruning, fertilizing, irrigation, and integrated pest management control programs.
Skills: - Ability to work and communicate with others in a professional, friendly manner - This position may require the employee to work alone on or offsite, solve problems, and use independent judgment Physical Demands: Strong to be able to go on tall ladders, lift up to 70 pounds To Apply: Submit resume to pashajobs [at] pashanet [dot] com or fax to 415-924-8977.
