Facilities Manager: Charming Charlie
This individual will oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our headquarters and stores.
Facilities ManagerReports to: Construction and Design DirectorFLSA status: Exempt SUMMARY The Facilities Manager will oversee the daily operations and maintenance of Charming Charlies headquarters and our retail stores.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Plan, direct, and coordinate activities concerned with the operation, repair, maintenance, and construction of facilities to maximize efficiency · Formulates procedures, operating rules, regulations and recommends improvements to current policies · Assigns workers to duties such as maintenance, repair, or renovation and may obtain bids for additional work from outside contractors · Operates successfully within annual budget guidelines · Reviews reports and expenditures for previous fiscal year and proposes improvements to facilities in order to prepare budget estimates for upcoming fiscal year · Purchases building maintenance supplies, equipment and furniture · Direct contracted projects to ensure adherence to specifications · Successfully manages relationships between all departments, store personnel and local vendors/contractors · Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelors Degree preferred, with 5-10 years experience as a Facilities Manager in a retail environment · Excellent problem solving ability, leveraging resources for resolution · Ability to appropriately communicate and otherwise handle controversial and sensitive business information · Ability to establish, communicate and maintain Charming Charlie policies and standards · Proven ability to drive results by providing strategic direction and leadership to internal and external business partners · Demonstrates a solid understanding of standard building construction means, local building codes, regulations and ADA requirements · Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities is required Charming Charlie is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
