They have been in business for 35 years, focusing mainly on commercial interior fit-outs.
They are looking for a computer savvy Controller.
This position reports directly to the owners.
Accounting: ▪ Analyze & track $3 million per month in commercial interior renovation projects ▪ Manage insurance and surety requirements in over 25 Grade "A" Commercial Buildings ▪ Manage all accounting functions, including policy & procedures ▪ Responsible for corporate budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis ▪ Responsible for cash management, job costing, A/R, A/P, and payroll, cash flow management & projections ▪ Prepare and maintain various contracts and banking documents ▪ Post Month-end Adjusting journal entries ▪ Arrange for audits and reviews of company accounts as requested by external CPAs ▪ Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with external organizations ▪ Help integrate new accounting processes across various departments ▪ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports ▪ Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends ▪ Manage financial and administrative staff by recruiting, selecting and training employees ▪ Work directly with Project Managers to resolve costing discrepancies and budget overruns ▪ Monitor job cost system to effectively measure gross profit, work in process and percentage complete ▪ Supervise a staff of four accounting and administrative personnel Computer System: ▪ Manage technology strategy, software implementation and computer network.
