Weekend Receptionist/General Administrative Assistant: Virginia War Memorial
Virginia War MemorialWeekend Receptionist/General Admin Asst (#WM006) (Admin and Office Specialist III) Provide weekend receptionist coverage at the Virginia War Memorial & provide admin assistance to the Executive Dir & act as office purchasing agent.
Duties include: greeting visitors, answering telephone, routing calls, announcing visitors, maintaining kitchen/break area, & receiving & distributing mail.
Serve as office purchasing agent working w/ eVA & the small purchase credit card.
Provide admin assistance 8 hrs during the week to the Executive Dir by filing, preparing reports & other general administrative tasks.
Hiring range: Starting at $11.
54/hr, wage position, no benefits.
Qualifications: Ability to work on weekends.
Good working knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
Previous admin assistant/receptionist exp. Working knowledge of InDesign software a plus.
Background in history or education preferred.
Will be required to work on weekends & 1 day during the week.
Professional attire required.
