Transcriptionist/Editor
Location This position is located in Kearny Mesa.
Hours 8-hour shift; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, no weekends.
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum four to five years experience in Medical Transcription (Acute, H and P's, consults and surgeries) required.
Occupational Medicine knowledge preferred.
Able to type 70 plus wpm required.
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy required.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word required.
Excel and IDX knowledge preferred.
Summary Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, no phones.
Physical Requirements Able to sit at a computer 7-8 hours a day.
