Senior Acquisitions Consultant 9239
Description: Program Analyst Must possess a Bachelors degree (Mandatory) in one of the following disciplines: business management, strategic planning, or a related field.
In addition to the educational degree requirements, the analyst must possess the ability to develop, implement, and monitor policy and procedures; analyze areas of concern and present feasible alternatives and recommendations; conduct interviews to retrieve essential information; and collect, compile and assemble data for financial and analytical documents and reports.
Must be proficient in the development of briefings and have a working knowledge of MS Excel/Access/PowerPoint/MS Project.
Additionally, the individual must have the ability to research regulatory and administrative requirements, interpret researched data, and have interpersonal and communication skills (proactive speaker).
A minimum of four (4) years experience in performing program analysis is required.
The Integrated Document Production Program Office is the office within the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, Department of Homeland Security that is responsible for the operations and management of issuing immigrants and non-immigrant aliens benefit cards once their applications are approved in accordance with current US Immigration laws.
We are looking for a program analyst with a strong background in acquisition and project management who is able to perform project management support, acquisition planning, source selection, and contract administration activities in support of a Government Program Office.
In addition, the candidate must have strong analytical skills, be able to research, assess and evaluate cost and technical information, develop project plans, evaluate performance and assess quality issues related to the production of secure identity cards and printing technologies.
An interest or experience in smartcard technology and biometrics is also desired, but not required.
Candidates must be capable of receiving a clearance.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
