The Reader (Media Monitoring Operations) is an entry level role that is responsible for visually scanning assigned and required amount of newspapers and/or magazines and entering data into computer.
The reader meets production requirements providing information to clients on current basis.
Main Tasks/Responsibilities: Visually scan publications checking for proper names and for subject matter of article or ad or research topics Enter data into computer Make determination if subject matter of article or ad is appropriate to take for client, based on on-line information Underline key words, write appropriate account numbers, and mark the article/ad for clipping Enter account numbers and clip totals into computer Read assigned daily goal of publications.
Meet all production requirements Follow established reading and office procedures Perform other duties as assigned Experience: 2 years of solid work history required Typing speed of 20+ wpm Solid knowledge of the English language, both oral and written Legible handwriting Ability to operate computer keyboard and data entry skills Knowledge of current events High school diploma or GED required Our fast-paced, results-driven environment calls for individuals who are energetic, have a strong work ethic and are innovative.
