Proposal Coordinator/Writer Proposal Coordinator needed in Sterling Va. A coordinator needed in the the Prepare of Cost Proposals in the Federal Marketplace, including cost narrative and financial spreadsheets.

Act as liaison for cost proposal-related matters between Proposal Managers, Service Center staff, and subsidiaries of the company.

- Expert proficiency in MS Excel; - Prior cost proposal hands-on experience, including: o Developing proposal outlines, o Ensuring compliance with the solicitation requirements, o Providing version control of proposal-related documents, o Writing cost narratives, o Scheduling and tracking cost proposal development milestones, and o Creating cost proposal data and spreadsheets; - Knowledge of Service Contract Act, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and other Government-related applicable standards and regulations; - Knowledge of market and competition; Education and/or Experience: BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field; and a minimum of 5 years related experience.

Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Requests for Proposals, Requests for Quotations, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or Government regulations.

Ability to write cost narratives, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to create, implement, and verify formulas in Excel spreadsheets.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver's license.

Other Skills and Abilities: Must have excellent organization skills.
