Patient/Physician Access Coordinator 40D
Duties: To promote patient and physician satisfaction through proactive administrative services.
To collaborate with physician/office to ensure a seamless delivery of patient access activities.
To facilitate the authorization process, to minimize direct involvement with physician/office staff.
To consolidate activities, of a similar nature, performed by both the hospital and physician/office to minimize redundancies and reduce costs.
To provide consistent education to physician/office staff regarding changes in Third Party requirements.
Requirements: Associates degree in Business/Medical related field.
Two years experience in medical, financial, or marketing institution.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
