Mgr, Procurement Automation & Process Improvemment

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: -Manage Corporate Procurement's global procurement automation effort oManage e-Procurement application and develop additional tools/solutions to enhance company's procurement processes and control environment ?Ensure e-procurement application is operating effectively and meeting functional and business unit requirements ?Identify new functional requirements and assess change requirements oManage user support programs, including developing global training program oManage and provide guidance to functional and technical resources assigned to e-procurement application (e.
g., activity prioritization, resource allocation, ROI, etc.) oManage third-party relationships, including SLA measurement/monitoring -Lead change management efforts to enhance company's procure-to-pay process oProcure-to-pay process optimization (e.
g., eliminate failure modes, decrease cycle time, reduce costs, eliminate non value-added activities, etc.) oProcure-to-pay automation (e.
g., e-invoicing, e-settlement, contract management, etc.) oSupport efforts to standardize and centralize processes in connection with Avery Dennison's operating principles -Support cross-functional/cross-divisional initiatives by developing creative and strategically-sound solutions oCollaborate with SSCs to develop and implement procure-to-pay initiatives oCollaborate with business units to assess and improve their procurement processes oPrioritize initiatives and allocate resources -Design, develop and maintain performance scorecard to measure department's performance -Provide SOX documentation, testing and reporting support -Mentor and coach to promote staff development To Apply Visit Avery Dennison QUALIFICATIONS: -Bachelors degree from an accredited university (required) or MBA (desirable) -Minimum 6-8 years of project management experience (application management is desirable) -Demonstrated experience in designing, managing and implementing process improvement initiatives -Working knowledge of procurement best practices -Working knowledge of Ariba Procurement suite is desirable -Strong leadership, people development and communication skills -Ability to operate strategically, as well as tactically -Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload -Solid planning and organization skills -Self-motivated and foster teamwork -High level of integrity
