Claims Adjudicator: Independent Health
Job Summary: The claims adjudicator shall be responsible for adjudicating claims against established criteria and address incoming inquires to ensure that all claims are paid in support of established rules, regulations, performance guarantees and department targets.
Requirements
1. High school education or GED equivalent required.
2. A minimum of one year processing medical claims experience required.
3. Knowledge of medical terminology required.
4. A minimum of one year FSA/HRA product knowledge preferred.
5. Good PC skills, included MS Office Suite (Word and Excel), coupled with solid data entry skill required.
6. Analytical skills for review of FSA/HRA/Debit Cards against established criteria.
7. Understands the importance of maintaining the physical and technical security and privacy of protected health information (PHI).
