We are currently seeking Operational Risk Management Associates to join us in our Tysons Corner office.
Operational Risk Management (ORM) Services professionals assist our clients as they work to improve business performance and manage risk.
ORM focuses on physical operations such as manufacturing, distribution, logistics, procurement, sourcing, and inventory management.
Our team of professionals performs reviews of operations, identifying and assessing opportunities for improvement in process, organization, technology risks and control.
Responsibilities: - Review information security controls to help provide effective, efficient and secure access to information within these applications - Clearly communicate information security and technology issues to clients and internal staff, formally and informally - Assist in the scoping of prospective engagements, including the development of proposals - Operate in a team environment with individual responsibilities and finite timeframes, while at the same time working independently - Problem solve and articulate, through outstanding verbal and written communication, the information security and technology risk issues to various levels of client and internal staff both on a formal and informal basis Qualifications: - Ability to work independently on new business development opportunities and writing and delivering proposals - Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written - Demonstrated initiative and adaptability - Willingness to travel up to 80 percent of the time - BA/BS degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent from an accredited college/university KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
