Title Clerk (Central Lending): Security Service Federal Credit Union
Processes and completes the appropriate documentation on all SSFCU title work.
Answers questions from other departments, members and state agencies regarding vehicle leases, titles, and loans.
Obtains documents and title work papers from Service Centers on all auto loans, in order to make corrections and obtain additional information as needed to record SSFCU liens.
Handles title work and research on repossession sales.
Works with the applicable states Department of Transportation with any titles that require research.
Prepares letters of guarantee for insurance companies.
Works directly with the appropriate Tax Assessors Office and the state to obtain titles on autos, motor homes and boats.
Processes all title exchange requests from other states.
Posts insurance payoffs and releases the titles.
Prepares title correction affidavits for Indirect Lending department and sends to state capital for corrections.
Assists Loan Processors with the telephones, payoffs and other areas as needed.
Requirements: * Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
* Requires ability to operate 10-key by touch and type 30 wpm. * Requires six months to one year title clerk experience.
* Requires the ability to work in a high volume environment and maintain a professional demeanor.
* Requires basic knowledge of various office automation software, particularly MS Office Suite products.
