Senior Business Analyst
Senior Business Analyst for leading Financial Services firm.
This is an exciting full time opportunity at a major Bank / Brokerage house seeking the right talented individual to work in as a Senior Business Analyst.
As a senior team member, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities: * Originate and manage large-scale project/firm initiatives with multiple business and technical stakeholders.
* Develop business requirements, and with the technology team transform these requirements into technical specification for IT builds.
* Capture current business workflow and processes, and re-design for future state.
* Create project plans and monitor/track project milestones and deadlines.
* Full IT project lifecycle management (startup through deployment).
* Manage team resources, maintain project budgets.
* Maintain issue logs, and mitigate project risks.
* Liaison between business and technology.
Required Skills: * Previous working experience in leading and managing complex projects.
* Work independently.

* Hard working, self motivated, and assertive.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Foster team building.
Able to manage people with diverse background.
* Experience in business process improvement.
* Capable of facilitating meetings.
* Knowledgeable of current technology architecture.
* Knowledge of and working experience in database design and implementation.
* Ability to create screen designs/mock-ups, and report definitions.
* Skills in Microsoft Office/Project, ability to create documentation and presentation, develop spreadsheet, cost models, ROI analysis and justifications.
* Strong communication skills (verbal/written).
* Ability to create/present executive level report and presentations.
Additonal Business Experience & Education: * 5-8 years progressive work experience in a capital market technology organization.
* Project Management certification a plus.
* Prior technical working experience a plus (developer, DBA etc.) * Industry certification (NASD Serie
