Net, C# Developer for our client, a Major Financial Firm in New York City, NY. Position Description: The candidate will be an experience Microsoft software developer with strong front end and middle tier software development skills.
The candidiate will work in Fixed Income IT area alongside the business group to analyze and develop enhancements and customization of the Fixed Income Indices platform.
The role will include: Requirements Analysis - work with the business line to identify and translate business objectives into technology deliverables.
Application Architecture - architect and integrate functional enhancements into the Indices platform.
Software Design - analyze and design software components.
Software Development - Design and develop enhancements for the Indices platform using web technologies in the .Net framework.
Required Skills: .Net Framework Web Services Service Oriented Architecture C# SQL Server/T-SQL IIS XML/XSLT MS OLAP COM/DCOM Financial sector experience as well as exposure to Fixed Income products and reference data is desirable.
