Sr. Java J2EE Financial Engineers SR. PROGRAMMER ANALYST OPPORTUNITY A Senior level Oracle J2EE programmer.

Preferably with Financial application experience, specifically trading systems with the knowledge of front office and middle office trades processing.

QUALIFICATIONS Proven C++/Java/OOAD with track record.

Financial experience with desire to work with complex large-scale systems.

Excellent communication & problem-solving and debugging skills JAVA, J2EE, ORACLE Must haves: OOP, C++ Unix (Solaris OS or Linux or AIX or HP) Unix tools (Scripts, Makefile, dbx, Sun Workshop, Perl, Shell Scripts) Oracle or Sybase DB Connectivity library experience PL/SQL Financial Experience Pluses: Java Application Servers Risk or Trading Java: Minimum 5 years experience with Java required.

Strong server programming abilities required.

Advanced working knowledge of JVM, Threading, Networking & Collections J2EE: Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) using a production EJB Server such as BEA WebLogic Server or IBM WebSphere required.

Extensive JDBC and JMS Web development skills including JSP and Servlets Clustering, fail-over, installation, configuration and deployment Architecture: Multi-tier architecture and production Internet architectures required.

Familiar with Service oriented Architecture (SOA).

Databases: Experience with Oracle or Sybase, preferably Oracle is required.

High Performance & Distributed Computing: Advanced knowledge of distributed computing topics and high availability a plus Modeling: Rational Rose or TogatherJ (similar tools).

Operating Systems: Experience with both Solaris and Windows is preferred.

2nd Role Lead Java J2EE Financial Engineer Skills Summary: 7+ years of software development experience with at least 4 years recent background in instituting application design of distributed applications, including Intranet Web Applications, using the J2EE Platform.

Familiar with design/architectural philosophies (ie OOD, EDA, SOA, BPM, etc.) Strong knowledge/implementation experience in the J2EE Platform.

Knowledge of User Interface technologies (ie RIA, DHTML/JavaScript, Ajax, etc.) Must be proficient with UML, standard GoF and J2EE design patterns Hands-on knowledge of Java and Enterprise Java Technologies (EJB, JMS, JTS, JTA, JNDI, JDBC, JSP, Servlets, RMI, etc.), BEA WebLogic, XML/XML Schema/XSLT Experienced in project life cycle procedures (ie Waterfall and Agile) with understand the application/nuance of one-approach verses the other.

Familiarity with .Net platform will be a plus Knowledge of fixed-income such as derivatives within the context of securitization (ABS, MBS, CMBS, CMO etc), Risk Reporting, portfolio risk management (both credit and market), data needs associated with price, ratings (S&P, Moody's, Fitch), default-time-probabilities, asset-indicative data (Intex, Bloomberg, LoanX), etc. Exposure to industry standard metadata models like FpML, MDDL, FIX A familiarity with in depth DB concepts and implementation.

RDBMS (Oracle or Sybase).

Financial application development experience is a must Specifically trading systems with the knowledge of front office and middle office trades processing Experience with Solaris, Linux and Windows Non-Technical skills: Strong communication skills Demonstrate strong technical leadership skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Position will work very closely with channel architects and domain architect.
