Database Administrator / Jr. Web Developer: NRL Federal Credit Union

Our Marketing Department has a great career opportunity for a Database Administrator / Jr Web Developer! NRL Federal Credit Union opened its doors in 1946 as a financial cooperative designed to serve the Naval Research Laboratory community.
We are located just minutes away from the new National Harbor and currently serve about 20,000 members with over $435 million in assets! Responsibilities: This DBA position is responsible for the development and maintenance of the day-to-day administration of data warehouse server(s) to ensure accurate, appropriate and effective use of data, including database definition, structure, documentation, performance, tuning, long-range requirements, and operational guidelines.
Also, performs hands on database and server administration including capacity planning, administration of change, control of physical data structures and resolves any database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, or other distributed data issues.
Responsibilities also include working with and developing web applications written in ASP.NET that will function with the database.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have relational database expertise and knowledge of a variety of programming concepts and languages including Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Web Programming, Object Oriented Design Techniques, HTML, SQL, T-SQL, XML, IIS, MS Reporting Services, C# or VB.Net and ASP.NET development is required.
