DB2 UDB DBA Must have financial industry experience A major financial company in NYC is looking for a Sr. DB2 UDB DBA. Job Requirements: -- 8+ years DB2 DBA experience (or equivalent background) * Primary responsibilities include support of production CICS/batch environments and application development groups * Understanding of DB2 storage management using both SMS and VCAT technologies * Knowledge and experience using DB2 Work Load Manager (WLM) * Ability to analyze SQL and recommend performance related improvements * Complete understanding of DB2 and MVS utilities * Familiar with issues related to open system connectivity to DB2 * Basic understanding and experience with DB2 data modeling * Motivated individual with good communication and organization skills * Excellent problem solving, debugging, and analytical skills * Understanding of DB2 replication from mainframe-to-open systems is a plus They care a lot about enthusiasm and attitude Must be US Citizen, Green Card, TN Visa
