Job Title: Business Development Account Manager Department: Business Development Reports to: Manager, Business Development FLSA: Exempt (Base + Commission) Interfaces With: Community and Business Leaders, All levels of credit union employees, Company Representatives and employees Job Purpose: Generate membership acquisition through development of Select Employee Groups (SEGs).

Promote current and existing products and services of credit union to companies, and support membership development through representation of credit union at community functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Working in an outside sales environment, maximize membership penetration and financial business from existing clients/partners.

Serve as primary liaison between clients/partners and Meriwest.

Develop and secure potential companies who may be interested in Credit Union membership.

Develop pipeline for new clients and businesses on an ongoing basis.

Execute programs for new business development and track results.

Establish rapport and maintain an on-going relationship with the Select Employee Groups (SEGs) field representative for scheduled presentations and on site visits.

Coordinate regular conferences, seminars and presentations with clients/partners.

Representative Meriwest and participate in relevant community functions.

Identify and suggest changes to Business Development practices and procedures in an effort to provide a professional image to all SEGs.

Maintain a weekly/monthly calendar of tasks and appointments for existing and potential clients.

Meet defined criteria for monthly goal of 100 new members and objectives for securing 3 new SEGs per month.

Attend community events and occasional evening events Minimum Qualifications: Must possess excellent oral communication and presentation skills Strong sales and development skills Must be computer literate in various PC applications High School diploma and/or BA/BS degree 2-3 years of experience with Business Sales 1-2 years experience in a Credit Union or other financial institution Want To Be Valued As An Employee?
