Regional Head of Marketing, Trade and Risk Management JOB DESCRIPTION Trade and Risk Management is part of the Enterprise Business Division within Reuters and is currently around a £100M GBP revenue generating business.

We have ambitious plans for growing the business and this is reflected in the Strategic Goal to position Reuters as number 1 in the global trade and risk management market within 5 years.

This growth will be achieved both through organic growth and through acquisition.

In the last month we acquired a business called Application Networks which is a leading edge, technology driven, risk software business specialising in derivatives and ASP solutions.

The need for this new marketing role, positioned in North America, is driven by our growth strategy and will be key to achieving our business goals.

North America is a focus for growth and we are expecting to expand the sales and support teams on the back of the acquisition of Application Networks which brings particular strengths in this market through the product Kondor JRisk.

There are two parts to the new Marketing role: To evangelise and lead the product marketing for Kondor JRisk globally.

This involves working closely with the product management team, regional sales and BSG to provide all the support collateral, commercial policy, material, training and demonstration capabilities for Kondor JRisk globally To work very closely with the North American Risk sales and operations team, and Reuters channel including FGA, Consultative Channel, the Partners and Alliances team, and account managers to exploit the opportunity for Trade and Risk Management in North America.

Event planning, conferences, white papers, supporting partnerships and alliances, and all activities that will promote, differentiate and position Risk to grow and sell Kondor+, K+TP, Kondor Global Risk, and Kondor JRisk.

This will involve working very closely with sales in a new business development environment.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS · 5+ years experience in the Financial Services market with either a vendor or a financial institution in a marketing or business development role.

Experience with a competitor in the trade and risk management market is ideal.

· Strong knowledge of the derivatives market, structured products, credit derivatives essential.

· Good technical knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, and CRM an essential · Knowledge of Kondor+ and / or Kondor JRisk is an advantage.
