Project Editor/Production Services
Position Summary: The Project Editor in Production Services will be responsible for implementing and managing the production process, including reviewing and monitoring schedules and budgets.
Will coordinate outsourcing of project management for college core content.
Will anticipate and resolve problems related to quality, accuracy, schedule, and budget.
The Project Editor will supervise freelancers and suppliers and act as liaison with authors and editorial through the production process.
Will work with art and design staff and freelancers in producing and refining art programs and design specs.
Requirements A candidate should possess the skills to work effectively with language and be able to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage 15+ projects concurrently.
It is important for a candidate to have strong organization, interpersonal, communication, and detail skills.
3-5 years working in project management of textbooks is desired; BA/BS or equivalent is required.
