Production Artist/Designer
Position Type: Temporary We have a SF-based client looking for a solid Production Artist/Designer with print and web experience.
Our client is looking for someone strong with both print (direct mail, collateral) and some web experience (website, HTML emails, online brochures, CSS, HTML coding, etc.). Solid skills in PS, Quark, Illustrator, InDesign, DW and Fireworks ideal.
Strong knowledge of prepress skills.
Understanding of the fundamentals of layout and design with a keen eye for typography, color and other design elements.
A strong POV is welcome!!!! This client loves people who can defend their design ideas! Detail orient and an interest in progressive issues helpful.
***At first, this will be 2 days onsite (start time next Monday/Tuesday).
Then, if all goes well, it will go to part-time in mid-October (Mondays/Tuesdays).
then, 5 days a week mid-November thru February.
