Marketing Coordinator - Academic/Trade Reference: Oxford University Press
New Marketing Coordinator position available at OUP in NYC! Oxford University Press seeks an energetic and motivated individual for a Marketing Coordinator position in the Trade Reference marketing department.
The marketing coordinator will work with the senior marketing manager to develop & execute title marketing plans and work closely with publicity, editorial and sales to explore all promotional opportunities.
In addition, he or she will be responsible for analyzing pricing, market share, and sales for all of our branded reference products.
Specific responsibilities include: Prepare, refine and implement marketing plans for all assigned titles Analyze sales and develop strategies to increase market share Work with Senior Marketing Manager to establish sales strategies for the list and communicate these strategies through sales meeting presentations, promotional materials, direct mail, e-mail campaigns, advertising, etc. Develop promotional partnerships with relevant organizations and websites We require two to four years related experience in marketing or sales.
Book publishing experience preferred.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate initiative, creative problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Excel a must.
College degree required.
