Junior Art Director
Junior Art Director Overview: Bloomingdale's has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated graphic designer to contribute to our in-house creative team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized person to help capture the season's important fashion/cultural trends and keep our print advertising modern, innovative, and inspired.
Key Accountabilities: Attend concept meetings with creative team and merchants Help Art Directors prepare for photoshoots and assist on set Conceptualize and design print ads and fashion catalogs Edit incoming film for Art Directors Research graphic design and advertising trends Mark prints for re-touching Interface with client, creative, pre-press, and traffic teams to ensure design approvals Manage multiple deadlines and shoot schedules Communicate with marketing department and Buyers about merchandise availability Report to Senior Art Director Skills Summary: BA/BFA required 1-3 years experience in graphic design/advertising Well developed typography skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Advanced InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator skills Prior experience in fast-paced and dynamic creative environment Strong conceptual and brainstorming skills Highly organized with an ability to multi-task and prioritize projects Bloomingdale's is an Equal Opportunity Employer MFDV Please Click here to Apply for this position.
