HUMAN RESOURCES ADVISOR This position will report to a Senior HR Business Partner and will work closely with several HR Business Partners.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: · Client Group(s) Support: Provides first line of support on HR issues to line managers of defined client groups.

· International Assignments: Advise managers on IA policies; provide guidance to managers related to GRF title and salary benchmark data; initiate assignments with the IA team via website; manage immigration process (e.

g., obtain valid work permit for assignees) with IA and Reuters immigration attorney · Compensation & Benefits: Provide guidance to managers on remuneration policies, processes and tools; assist in the coordination of remuneration initiatives, (e.

g., annual salary review, annual bonus payout, equity grants); assist managers on utilizing the CMO system during the annual remuneration process · Performance Management: Guide managers through the performance management system by assisting with the roll-out of processes and tools, such as the PMO system, Personal Development Plans; eLearning training programs, and management training workshops (e.

g., The Management Challenge); prepare information for Performance Assessment Workshops and Talent Review Workshops and manage the data/results from these workshops · On-boarding: Manage the on-boarding of new hires within defined client groups, including collecting new hire paperwork, entering data into Oracle HR, ensuring hiring manager has fulfilled all “checklist” requirements, facilitating orientation session, etc. · Recruitment: Consult and support managers in completing Recruitment Authorization Forms so that the Talent Acquisition team can initiate the candidate search; advise hiring managers on appropriate GRF title; provide salary benchmark data; provide assistance to managers with hiring temporary support through Reuters preferred vendors; set up contractors for invoicing/payment in Reuters online system · Other: o Project work, such as assisting in the due diligence related to a company acquisition; integrating acquired employees into Reuters, etc. o Employee terminations, such as conducting exit interviews, coordinating generating exit paperwork, processing payments, etc. o Data integrity, such as ensuring data and all HR processes are in compliance with SOX guidelines; generating Business Objects reports, tracking HR details of the workforce that the Advisor supports, etc. REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE: Ø At least 2 years of HR experience, as an HR Advisor/Assistant or Administrator Ø Sound knowledge of HR best practices (e.

g., employee relations, compensation); is creative and enthusiastic about HR and eager to make continuous improvements within and outside of HR; Ø May have (or be studying for an appropriate) HR qualification, such as SHRM certification; is keen to pursue a career in HR and shows initiative to develop HR knowledge further.

Ø Possess strong interpersonal and analytical skills; willing and able to seek, interpret, and apply information and advice from a variety of sources; demonstrates diplomacy, confidentiality and professionalism Ø Is a team player; uses best practice; is also comfortable working autonomously, when required Ø Strong computer skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
