Editorial Project Manager
Position Summary: The Editorial Project Manager manages relationships and maintains productive communications with marketing, design, production, and manufacturing staff to produce effective and salable publications.
The EPM will also take on the task of managing relationships with authors, vendors, and outside development houses as well as the development of technology products.
The incumbent will also train editorial staff and coordinate the use of technology tools in the publishing process to facilitate development efficiency and to enhance product quality.
A key task will be to work with editorial management, market research, and marketing departments to develop research plan and program design and then apply market research results and knowledge of industry trends throughout program development.
The Editorial Project Manager also participates in the training of sales staff and in sales support activities such as providing in-service training for teachers and giving product presentations to educators.

Requirements 6-9 years experience in Publishing and Project Management Teaching experience preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Skills Desired:
