Business Development Director, Channel Partners The Business Development Director, Channel Partners, Americas will be responsible for all aspects of managing the channel partner relationships through which we distribute Reuters Knowledge content to clients in the Americas.

This includes responsibility for acting as the principal relationship for some of our largest global partnerships.

· Define and execute the Knowledge partnership strategy for the Americas - including the overall vision and strategic objectives for partners, with a focus on what creates value for the business and differentiates Reuters from the competition · Manage existing Americas partner network, including global partnerships based in the Americas.

Ensure continued strategic and operational alignment and ongoing value creation for both parties.

· Identify new partner opportunities, developing and managing relationships with the aim of satisfying client needs by providing Reuters Knowledge content via partner solutions that best fit with client workflow · Structure and negotiate commercial agreements with partners and vendors · Build a value proposition with partners and communicate this value proposition to Reuters/partner sales specialists and account managers as well as clients · Work closely with sales to ensure delivery of sales targets · Support sales specialists and account managers and ensuring that fulfilment and support procedures for partner/vendor relationships are in place Ensure that product enhancements and new data sets/products are introduced within existing channel partners within acceptable time frames Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise: A superior track record as business development leader in the financial services market Excellent overall business sense, combined with superior judgment and negotiation skills that will lead to intelligent and profitable deals Influential and dynamic professional, able to maintain a wide relationship network internally and within client organizations Customer focused, with a passion for understanding customers’ business Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets Experience using financial data over industry-standard products (eg via platforms such as Reuters, FactSet, Bloomberg, ThomsonOne etc) desirable Familiarity with Reuters Content desirable Demonstrates urgency, energy, drive and enthusiasm; strong team player Reuters is an equal opportunity employer.
