Business Development - Americas, Post Trade Services JOB DESCRIPTION - Role and Responsibilities To champion the Post Trade Service propositions in the region with an emphasis on proposition requirements, competitive position, marketing, and customer acquisition in line with overall Post Trade and S&T strategy and targets.

• Champion product proposition to customers, in conjunction with sales • Identify local customer product requirements and represent to central product team • Analyze competitive landscape to ensure proposition requirements differentiate Reuters offering and to hone market positioning vs. competitors • Manage campaign process and target customer lists • Support the overall sales, service, and marketing models for Post Trade propositions in the region.

• Optimise day-to-day regional (ie GSSO) interaction, ensuring that regional needs are channeled back as clear requirements and global functions are appraised of local market and competitive environment.

• Market test regional propositions with customers and demonstrate follow up to feedback prior to launching new propositions and on an ongoing basis.

• Understand customers’ business problems, actively seek proposition requirements from customers, and ensure they are accurately fed into the product management function in the form of Marketing Requirements Specification / Proposition Plan.

• Manage local business relationships with relevant third party partners.
