Public Relations Manager - Bloomingdale's The Mall at Short Hills: Bloomingdale's
Overview: The Public Relations Manager is responsible for planning and executing a wide variety of special events/promotions, along with media/community relations projects.
Key Accountabilities: Manage and coordinate all aspects of in-store special events from beginning to end Assume an active role in community relations Manage and operate an office with responsibilities including budgeting & administrative duties Create and execute media Work closely with store management team on strategies/plans to develop & execute in-store events Skills Summary: Must have at least 5 years experience in marketing and/or special events/public relations 4 year degree in public relations, communications or marketing Retail background a plus Strong writing and verbal communication skills necessary Strong involvement and knowledge of communities, as well as media contacts Independent worker, self initiative/self-starter, resourceful and a problem solver Organized, detailed and thorough, creative and positive Must be a solid team player Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities Bloomingdale's Is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
