Media Buyer/Planner: ACG (American Communications Group, Inc.)

To learn more about ACG, please visit www.acgmedia.com. ACG currently has a full-time opening for a talented Print Media Buyer/Planner, whose responsibility is to serve as a Clients on-site Agency representative in Matthews , NC (a suburb of Charlotte ).
This position works closely with the accounts Client Service Manager to provide well-integrated and unified service that exemplifies the Agencys philosophy and standards.
The Print Media Specialist: Serves as on-site Agency representative and liaison.
Researches and keeps the Client Service Manager apprised of Clients brands/products/services/marketing developments and competitor activity.
Works closely with the Client Service Manager to develop solutions and advise Client on matters relating to media buying, planning and general strategy.
Coordinates, attends, and/or conducts Agency/Client meetings and presentations.
Conducts research, analyzes data and prepares reports, including market analyses, as it relates to the Clients media plan/strategy or changes thereto.
Handles ad hoc and routine requests to research or confirm data relating to the Clients print program.
Maintains a familiarity with the status of the Clients current projects at the Agency.
May place preprint and ROP orders and negotiate contracts.
Skills/Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B.
A.
) from an accredited college or university and three years print media planning and buying experience in retail advertising; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory experience or management-level work experience a plus.
Strong analytical, reasoning and judgment skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong computer skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Power Point.
Strong researching and web searching skills.
Must be able to work independently and against tight deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with people and teams at all levels of a corporation.
Ability to travel, if needed.
