EOE POSITION REQUIREMENTS In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Catholic Healthcare West, the Director of Marketing and Communications at Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center is a professional who assumes responsibility and accountability for the marketing and communication functions for Glendale Memorial Hospital, and applies CHW Core Values to the performance of every job duty.

These Values include Dignity, Collaboration, Justice, Stewardship, and Excellence.

This position is responsible for planning and leading the Marketing and Communications efforts at Glendale Memorial Hospital and is accountable to the Vice President, Business Development.

This position is responsible for developing and implementing marketing, communication and promotional plans for the hospital.

This position is also responsible for providing consultation on how a specific action or decision will affect and/or could be perceived by internal and external constituents.

The Communications function is charged with the management of all internal and external communications and public relations activities to support the hospital and is responsible for managing the media.

Reports to: VP Business DevelopmentSupervises: Marketing, Communications and Public Relations.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAININGExperience: 3-5 years Marketing/Public Relations supervisory experience in healthcare setting requiredEducation: BS Marketing/Communication/Journalism requiredSpecialized Training: Licensure: California Driver's License required.
