Treasury Operations Manager
This person will design, implement and direct global cash management programs.
This role will expert consultant to operating companies on cash management.
This person will monitor and lead initiatives to reduce banking expense and optimize short-term cash positions, execute hedging programs and evaluate effectiveness, and drive field compliance with treasury policies and procedures and SOX compliance.
There are 2 direct reports in the US. This person will be responsible for daily management of the companys centralized cash portfolios on a global basis.
This person will work closely with field and other corporate functions to manage global cash positions while achieving corporate tax rate and other objectives; monitor tools, banking services and products, changes in regulations, company organization, etc, and propose changes, which reduce cost and increase efficiency; and direct the foreign exchange hedging program and measure effectiveness.
This person will work proactively with field and controllership to identify exposures and ensure compliance; work closely with tax and accounting in the formation of new companies, loans or practices to minimize FX impacts; and monitor worldwide cash balances and coordinate all intercompany cash movements.
This person must be aware of tax and legal issues relating to international cash movements, and work closely with tax, accounting and local finance to optimize and reduce off-shore cash balances.
This person will manage and optimize corporate investing and financing programs; design and implement a global cash forecast process and optimize duration of investments/borrowing; and establish treasury operations standards for subsidiaries and works closely with subsidiary and regional management to ensure that standards and controls are adhered to. Expertise in domestic and international cash management practices, and international banking is required.
Strong organizational and project management skills are necessary.
Candidates must be detail oriented.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in multinational environment and influence key players in the US and abroad are required.
Strong systems skills including treasury workstations (FXpress), bank cash management systems, Excel, database software, are required.
Analytical skills, with ability to evaluate issues from local, regional and corporate perspectives, are essential.
