Tax Private Company Services Manager
Job Description The Private Company Services Tax Manager will provide tax consulting and compliance services to clients.
He/she will be accountable for researching tax issues, writing memos and performing numerical analysis to support the research and business recommendations to the client.
The technical tax issues they will address include: subchapter C, K and S, consolidated returns, international and individuals.
In addition, he/she will supervise and manage compliance projects, including tax returns, tax provisions and year-end planning projects.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Service Tax Industry Not Applicable Office Philadelphia PA Years Experience Required 5-8 years Education Required Bachelor's in Accounting.
Masters of Taxation is desired and CPA is required.
Job Requirement Essential A strong technical tax background as a result of at least five years advising companies on tax strategies is required.
Experience in corporate tax research consulting and compliance services in a professional services firm, corporation, government agency and/or law firm is essential.
Candidate should demonstrate the ability to identify tax consulting opportunities and be willing to aggressively market services to existing and prospective clients.
Client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
