Tax Director - Financial Services
Job Description The PricewaterhouseCoopers Dallas office is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join their Financial Services, Real Estate practice.
This position involves advising real estate clients on the US tax implications of their domestic operations, to obtain an optimal tax minimization strategy.
You will have an opportunity to network extensively with existing and prospective clients, to assume a high degree of responsibility and exposure within the firm, as well as the opportunity to concentrate your efforts on corporate tax consulting, compliance, tax provision reviews and tax planning issues.
You will also be responsible for providing industry knowledge and technical expertise to our clients.
Service Tax Industry Financial Services (FS) Office Dallas TX Years Experience Required 10+ Education Required BS in Accounting (MS in Taxation preferred); CPA required.
Job Requirement Essential Must demonstrate the following: * A proven track record as a member of the tax practice of a national, regional or Big 4 accounting firm; * Strong tax compliance and consulting skills; * Strong leadership & staff development skills, and significant experience in supervising tax professionals; * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; * Proven relationship management and sales skills; * Capability to identify and sell additional tax services to existing clients as well as potential target clients; * CPA certification required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical tax background as a result of 10+ years experience advising real estate companies on their domestic tax strategy.
Experience in corporate tax research, consulting and compliance in a professional services firm or industry leader is preferable.
Candidate must be highly motivated and interested in taking the initiative for personal growth and development.
Candidate must have a demonstrated ability to identify tax consulting opportunities and a willingness to aggressively market services to existing and prospective clients.
Client service orientation combined with creative problem solving skills and strong written and oral communication skills are necessary.
Individuals should also posses the ability to manage, develop and retain a team of tax professionals.
