PURPOSE OF POSITION: Working under minimal supervision, this individual will oversee and monitor the credit and collections process, coordinate accounts receivable analysis and reporting, lead contract administration activities and supervise the customer implementation process.
Directly responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures for the Collections and Customer Implementation department.
This individual will supervise the work of each of his/her respective team members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supervises the Collection team regarding priorities and reviews the work of the Collections Specialists.
Supervises staff on the implementation process for all new customers to ensure accurate setup and adherence to PHCS reporting and payment requirements.
Reviews all new customer contracts, amendments, and pricing letters for content and adherence to PHCS standards.
Develops, implements, and monitors new policies and procedures for the Collections and Customer Implementation department.
Effectively identifies and communicates to management all collections/contract/customer implementation issues and risks in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS: Required BS in Accounting or other Business field.
6+ years accounting experience.
In depth knowledge of Collections, A/R and financial system report writers.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and G/L applications.
Supervisory/Leadership experience.
Strong analytical skills.
Customer focused, detail oriented and a team player.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Strong growth potential.
Desired: Contract administration and customer implementation experience.
Managed healthcare product knowledge.
